Seacoast Lacrosse first began as an experimental neighborhood activity in the summer of 1997. We joined the New Hampshire Youth Lacrosse Association (NHYLA) as a U15 Boys team for the spring 1998 season and have continued to grow since that time. We are a self governed organization co-sponsored by the City of Portsmouth Recreation Department.

Lacrosse is a fun sport that is fast-paced, has lots of action, high scoring, defensive play and running. The sport involves a nice blend of individual and team play and incorporates some of the best aspects of basketball, hockey, football and soccer.

Seacoast Lacrosse Club
is an independent, all volunteer, non-profit organization committed to providing a high quality youth Lacrosse program for players aged 6-15 years old, who reside within the
Portsmouth High School Administrative Unit (SAU 50 & 52).

We are dedicated to the instruction of lacrosse, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competition
in a safe and respectful environment,
while promoting personal responsibility,
and offering participants an opportunity
to enjoy all that is best about youth sports.

Time to start gearing up for the spring lacrosse season! Here are some important messages:

  1. Please Register (if you haven’t already): Is your player signed up? Please go to USA Lacrosse and renew / establish your player’s membership. Save the membership number and then go to Registration.SeacoastLacrosse.org to sign up. We’re preparing for the upcoming season and trying to communicate details – sign your player up now, please!

Step 1: www.usalacrosse.com/membership

Step 2: Registration.SeacoastLacrosse.org

Spread the word! Get your player’s friends to sign up, too!

If you’ve already signed your player up, then just make sure their friends are signed up, too – no other action is required if you’re already signed up.

Please note: we have some scholarships available for those that are interested – contact us at for more information.

  1. Order Uniforms (if you don’t have one): If your player is new to Seacoast Lacrosse or maybe just outgrew their old uniform, please order one now!  Our uniform vendor gives us a window of time to order uniforms so that they are ready in time for the season. That requires us to plan ahead and order now – the online store is open now. The store closes (for good) on February 5th – so please order now.

The online store enables us to direct order through the vendor. The uniforms will be shipped close to the beginning of the season – but will be here in time for the first game. Any questions or concerns about uniform orders are handled directly with the vendor – Atlantic Sportswear (atlanticsportswear.com)

If your player already has a uniform, you don’t need to order a new one. Please do pass them down to younger siblings, friends, etc.

Kindergarteners don’t need uniforms. We will provide them with a reversible pinnie. All other players 1st grade through 8th grade need uniforms for the leagues we play in. The uniform is a reversible tank top and black bottoms (shorts, skort, skirt, etc.). Shooting shirts (the athletic undershirt) are optional. Please use your judgement on sizing.

If your player has outgrown their uniform and would like to donate it to the program, please contact us at

Thank you for your attention to these details – we appreciate your signing up and ordering now!
